This Privacy Policy explains how ILARI handles personal information when you use ilariplanner.com, your ILARI account, the Planning House and related digital event-planning services.

1. Information we process

Depending on how you use ILARI, we may process account information such as your name, email address and authentication identifiers; occasion details such as event type, date, location and chosen currency; planning information such as tasks, budgets, vendors, timelines, seating and hall layouts; guest and RSVP information you choose to enter; billing and entitlement information; and technical information needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the Service.

2. Guest, vendor and third-party information

ILARI lets you enter information about guests, vendors and other people involved in an event. You decide what information to enter and are responsible for having an appropriate legal basis, consent or permission to collect and use it. ILARI processes that information to provide the planning features you request.

3. How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, provide and save planning features, maintain separate event workspaces, generate documents and Event Packs, manage invitations and RSVPs where used, verify paid access, provide support, prevent abuse, maintain reliability, comply with legal obligations and improve ILARI.

4. Payments

Payments are processed through Paddle.com when Paddle checkout is used. ILARI may receive billing metadata such as transaction or subscription identifiers, product or plan information, payment status, dates and access-entitlement information. Full payment-card details are handled by the payment provider rather than stored by ILARI as part of our normal checkout flow.

5. Service providers

We use service providers to support functions such as authentication, hosting, databases, payments and communications. These providers may process information on our behalf or under their own applicable terms and privacy obligations, depending on the service they provide.

6. International processing

ILARI is an online service and its providers may operate infrastructure in different countries. Personal information may therefore be processed outside the country where you live. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we and our providers will rely on appropriate mechanisms.

7. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide ILARI, maintain accounts and event records, fulfil transactions, meet legal or financial obligations, resolve disputes and protect the Service. Expiry of an Occasion Pass does not automatically delete an occasion. Planning access may become locked while eligible documents remain available. You may request account deletion subject to information we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention or transaction-record purposes.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. You should use appropriate account security and protect devices through which you access ILARI.

9. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, objection to, or portability of certain personal information. To make a privacy request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

10. Communications

We may send service communications relating to your account, purchases, subscriptions, access periods, security, support requests or important changes to ILARI. If marketing communications are introduced, they will be handled in accordance with applicable consent and opt-out requirements.

11. Cookies and similar technologies

ILARI and its service providers may use cookies or similar technologies necessary for authentication, security, preferences, session management and site operation. If optional analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, we will update this Policy and provide consent controls where required.

12. Children's information

ILARI is not intended for children to create accounts where parental consent or another legal basis would be required. Event planners should not enter children's personal information unless they have the authority and lawful basis to do so, and should limit information to what is reasonably necessary for planning.

13. Downloads and sharing

When you download Event Packs, guest lists, seating information or other documents, those copies leave ILARI's controlled environment. You are responsible for storing and sharing downloaded documents securely, particularly where they contain guest or vendor personal information.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as ILARI, our providers or legal obligations change. The current version and update date are shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
